No special occasion - but the food is most important ti me

not too often to find a good hotel with restaurant quality food. Its a smalll affair and no kids allowed so its very civilsed (might have my work cut out there

Hope it turns out fabulous..I love roast duck, you can have the chops

I can't eat lamb without crying for Bambi

Got my mince pie, and the Princess got a pumpkin pie.

I baked a second Pumpkin Pie today..love them but only think about baking them for thanksgiving or Christmas.

Never tasted mince pie --- thought it was a meat pie??

So, how are Apple Cider Donuts - they really don't sound very tasty. LOL.

Bambi was a deer not a sheep. SMH

Earlier today I said I was getting a 'mincemeat' pie - wrong. I meant a 'mince' pie - apples, raisins, fruit, seasoned with I don't know what but good and only available seasonally. Many years ago as a surprise the Princess ordered a mincemeat pie for me from the Amish bakery. She got it, and all was good - then I cut it. It was meat in some sort of sweet sauce - not good.
