Just an innate talent I guess ?

Princess still hasn't activated into cookie making mode.

I'm having a hard time getting into that mode myself. Made a few but we just eat them up. I have told my brother I'd bring some to his house on the 23rd though, so maybe it's best to wait until right before we head out. (Although they may not make it during a 2.5 hour car trip, lol.)

Maybe you should just wander into the kitchen and start baking...bet that would activate something!

'Back in the day' before things got so screwed up we were on our way to Atlanta to spend Christmas with daughter and her family. We got delayed at the airport with our two large plastic totes of cookies. I threw a party and started handing out cookies to everyone - we may have emptied one entire tote. It was great fun - today, I would be arrested as a terrorist. Sad.

Today you would not only be arrested for being a terrorist, no one would eat them thinking they were tainted somehow. You're right, it is sad.

We've all been there, I'm sure...you read a response to a question and just have to laugh.

Someone asked about feeding chicken livers to chickens and this is the answer they got:

"I wouldn't feed them to them for a few reasons;
1.Chickens usually eat chicken feed,corn,vegetables etc so I wouldn't feed them liver.

2.The chickens don't know that it is chicken liver which means they are technically eating
Their people, you are giving them food but they don't know what it is so they will eat it,
It's like someone saying to you "here's some beef" and it is actually human leg,
You won't know that it's human but you are eating other humans so when you think about it, it disgusting.

I wouldn't feed them to the chickens.
If you have a dog give the liver to them."

Say what?? "eating their people..."

"Say What".

I took the Princess to meet my family - after we were engaged. Told her my mother was cooking rabbit (it was roast beef). Next while bridal shopping she said, "Mrs. Wallace that rabbit was really good last night." Mom said, "Rabbit, honey? is that what that boy of mine told you? It was roast beef. You can't believe a thing that boy says."
