As with everything it depends on the individual involved. When we first moved here we had a great mailman - he retired eventually. His replacement was not particularly good and eventually disappeared. Our present mail lady is outstanding and goes out of her way to do the right thing.

Don’t do it Janie, you don’t need more chickens to take care of and you got rid of the extra roosters for a reason.
