It is our 30th wedding anniversary on September 11th. I told my husband I want to go somewhere this year. I haven’t decided yet where I want to go. I do want to see an ocean. I would like to go to Maine in the fall but we have harvest. I am not ruling it out. I wouldn’t mind going to Texas or Virginia either. I want to go when it’s not hot even though I have the summer off. I think we are going to go with my best friend and her husband. She is well traveled and we have never been anywhere. We’ll see what happens.

I'm the same. I love home. It is my happy place. The longest I can stand to be away is a week, and then I'm stressed.

I’ve never been gone that long. The longest has been 4 days and that was to the Black Hills for our 25th. That’s the furthest I’ve ever been. I had monkey butt by the time we got there.

If you don't mind flying, you can get to some place and enjoy a few days without being gone from home too long. Everyone should see an ocean at least once, that's such a memorable sight!

We're moving again! (shocking I know, because we never move :gig )

DH was offered a much better job at a golf course in Kentucky so we're knee deep into packing up stuff here in FL, working with a realtor to buy a house up there in KY, etc.

My son is flying in Monday to help with everything. While DH is busy working here in FL, my son & I will be driving up to Kentucky to make a final decision on which house we want to put an offer on.

Hopefully, this all goes much easier and faster than last year's move from Wyoming to Florida. And I'm SUPER hopeful this is the last move (DH has promised).

I flew once in my life on a 4 passenger plane. It was not enjoyable. It was the day of my dads funeral. I was 17 years old. My uncle flew in and gave us kids rides before he left. I imagine a big plane is a bit more enjoyable.
I think I would love the ocean.
