I love coconut cream with meringue but believe it or not you have to order meringue pies in advance down here. Back when I was baking we made more meringue pies than with whipped topping.

I prefer the meringue over the whipped topping too. But I'd take either in a pinch

Have any of you heard anything of a sunburst heading our way that could knock out cell phone usage and electric? Supposedly all the senators have been issued phones that won't be affected by it. Read this on the web somewhere.
