Thanks, I got her all trimmed up last night and the right eye is fine. The left eye is very swollen and you can’t even see the eyeball. Looks like it might be Coryza (contagious upper respiratory infection). Going to vet in about an hour. Checking the other 80 plus before I go. We’ll see.Eye injuries are common in flocks, and I also had a Polish who was blinded in one eye due to a peck because she was often running into others. I would just spend some time reapplying the ointment at least twice a day, and helping her eat if needed (a probably necessary right now.) It can take several days to a week for swelling to go down, to know if they can see or not. Losing sight in one eye is not that uncommon, but it can be hard to lose it in both. Let us know how she gets along. I would occasionally trim my Polish hens’ feathers around the eyes so they could see better.
