Sounds like the house is full of issues, maybe he could find something else with some land.
We will see what happens. There is a couple more people that are interested. It hasn’t even been listed yet.
I wish he could find something else but there is nothing around. The big farmers are buying everything up when it becomes available. It’s impossible to compete with them. Land is going between $9,000-$10,000 an acre. If you get 160 acres that’s minimum of 1.4 million. We paid $162,000 for that plus a house, barn, etc in 1992. 😣

It's got to be rough for younger people getting started, especially if they want to farm. Good luck to him, whatever he decides about the house DMC.

Foreign corporations have bought up so much farmland, that it's a wonder that anything can be found for sale.

Thanks Debby!

Thank goodness that’s not happening here.

The garden is looking pretty good. I picked some more of those nasty worms out of the broccoli and brussel sprouts. Something totally stripped a pepper plant…good thing my son bought so many. My Roma tomatoes are starting to produce. :) I planted some jumbo marigolds in the garden this year. My mom always did that so she could enjoy flowers while she weeded.☺️

You have a big garden Janie! How do you keep it so weed-free?

Beautiful. I'm also fighting something that likes my squash plants.
