I cannot stand squirrel or rabbit. We ate so many different things growing up. My dad was a hunter and a fisherman. We ate catfish, bass, and most every fish and seafood, turtle and turtle egg soup, snakes, frog legs, crayfish, rabbit, squirrel, and of course deer and wild boar.

I’m down with most of that I’ll skip the rabbit though, Never tried turtle, but I would.

When we had our little farm in mid-FL we raised meat rabbits. We ate a few of them but it always bothered me to know who it was.

I can understand that. When we processed chickens I always waited long enough to forget who was who before I cooked them.
