I think I'm back. Last couple of days both the computer and our AC have crashed. New computer is giving me fits, and hopefully AC is patched to get through the season - getting a quote on replacement. I

Oh that's so cool! I have one who flies over my house every so often. Have you ever watched one snatch a fish from the water? They make it look so easy

I’ve never seen them snatch one but have seen them diving and also them carrying one (separately, not the same instance hah) but never at once.

Last spring one flew very low over my yard carrying a fish. I, of course looked up just in time to get a face full of lake water dripping off the fish.

I’m just about done cleaning my bathroom…amazing how much dirt can hide on white walls.

I spent the morning weed eating and hand weeding. It was hot today, but not the overwhelming heat we have had. It is only 90 right now, so I'm out sitting on the swing, conversing with my chicken friends.

Didn't get my KY driver's license today. Somewhere between FL and KY, I lost my social security card and didn't realize it until I was asked for it. So made the trip back home to request a replacement. When it comes in I'll have to give it another try.

We did get our vehicles registered and tagged though. So at least my car looks official!

I still don't understand why the dmv can't take a driver's license as Id. I mean, shouldn't they be able to tell if a license is authentic?

Yes, 2.5 miles away. He asked if I would clean it for him since I’m not working right now. I said yes, and I’d buy him a dehumidifier and fan for the basement as a house warming gift…and a fire alarm
His girlfriend broke up with him last week over Snapchat. He’s ok with it. He asked her to call him so they could actually have a conversation. It was apparently going to fast and she had a couple bad relationships. She’s letting a good man go. (She doesn’t cook so it was doomed from the beginning)

With you for a mom, I'm sure that cooking bar will be nearly unattainable.
