I think I'm back. Last couple of days both the computer and our AC have crashed. New computer is giving me fits, and hopefully AC is patched to get through the season - getting a quote on replacement. I

This is not the year to be without ac. I hope it lasts through the season.

Yesterday and today..not so great. Taking it easy. It's hot out there. I've not been able to handle heat for many years but now it's worse. Found out a couple of my medications doesn't help. My air is working great though. And we have a little wally world as I call it real close by..it was nice and cool in there. What do you all eat during the heat of the summers? I've eaten a lot of sandwiches. I got my first ripe tomato yesterday. Yumm..

A new one here is $12,000. We are going to have to fill ours every year unless we want to see if they can find the slow leak.

With you for a mom, I'm sure that cooking bar will be nearly unattainable.

Thanks Janie. I started cooking at a very young age. I’ve had a lot of practice. It’s just so convenient for the young adults to go out. If girlfriends can’t cook and want to learn, I’d be happy to teach them.

Lots of sandwiches and salads. And anything that doesn't require cooking.

Yes, 2.5 miles away. He asked if I would clean it for him since I’m not working right now. I said yes, and I’d buy him a dehumidifier and fan for the basement as a house warming gift…and a fire alarm
His girlfriend broke up with him last week over Snapchat. He’s ok with it. He asked her to call him so they could actually have a conversation. It was apparently going to fast and she had a couple bad relationships. She’s letting a good man go. (She doesn’t cook so it was doomed from the beginning)

So maybe he lost a girl and will gain a house...that sounds like a pretty good trade.

I still don't understand why the dmv can't take a driver's license as Id. I mean, shouldn't they be able to tell if a license is authentic?

I don't get it either Janie. My FL driver's license was "real id" and I had all the other paper work they asked for. But no sense in arguing with the DMV, that's a complete waste of time trying to make sense of things.

Hi Cynthia, we eat a LOT of salads. Congrats on your first homegrown tomato...those are the best!
