It is already bad enough. The Electric part of my bill was $265.00 last month.

The water\sewer bill was $171.

That about what our electric runs. Fortunately our water bill is cheaper. We have an aerobic septic system.

I think it is just relative to what we get used to, as well as the humidity in the air. I'm not going to criticizing anyone for lower the temperature. I've been through menopause.

I’m going through it.

Yikes, 72* warm.

My grandma was a hard one to visit in the summer. She didn't like cold air blowing on her so she didn't have a/c OR even fans.

I have a ceiling fan going in the dining room and living room. I had a stand fan blowing on me while I was baking. I wish I was normal.

We have some new neighbors. Much too close to us. We tried to buy the 2 acres between us and the hwy, but the lady who owned it wouldn't sell. She finally sold it to some relatives instead. They plan to put a manufactured home there. It is a long, shallow lot. It will be awkward having people that close. They seem nice enough though. They were hinting that they want access to our pond for fishing. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
We used to let the (weekend only) neighbors up the road fish but they were always leaving hooks and trash on the bridge. We finally told them no more.

I’d say no right off the bat.

Good morning DMC. I feel bad for my chickens, if next year is a repeat of this year I’ll get rid of them. My dogs don’t stay outside, it’s just cruel to leave animals out there in that.

Hattie comes in when she’s hot. She plops her butt right on the vent in the laundry room. I won’t make her suffer. The cats seem to be doing ok. If they look like they are suffering I’ll let them in and grab the litter box out of the shop.
