They should just give you an interstate license.

I got my driver's license! An interstate license sure would have made life simpler Janie.

But since DH says this is our "forever home", I splurged and paid a little extra for the 8 year Real ID license. I don't plan on flying anywhere, but with my mom being the age she is and living in WY, at some point in the future flying might be unavoidable.

It will house 75 people. Every one of them better have the skills needed to maintain their hidey hole and they better all get along well. I think that’s a recipe for disaster. Anyone who can afford that will want servants to do the dirty work Where are those folks going to live?

Apple tv has a show based on a novel called the Silo. It is very dystopian and yes, there are skilled people to keep things running.

Glad you're better!

No vacation this year, but next year he'll come out and we'll have some fun. One of the things he wants to do is check out Mammoth Cave. I came across this interesting chart a while back and see where it's #1 on the list. It's fairly close by so easy enough to visit. I think Janie mentioned having gone there and she said it was fun.

We went to Shasta Caverns last month-- it is not on the list but is a nice cave to visit.

I don’t like being among a lot of people either. I’ve been shopping early in the morning during the week to avoid the weekend people.

This is the fastest I’ve ever grocery shopped. I told the lady checking me out that I was in a hurry and not talking to her today.

Good morning, Debby. It's amazing how fast time is whirling by. I guess it's because it's the same everyday: wake up and rush to get everything done before it's too hot-look forward to the sun going down- sleep and do it all over again.

I thought this last night! Well, we got our rain throughout the night and morning. So much cooler. So nice. Now we wait for the rain to stop so we can go out to pick some fresh veggies. Looks like we only get into the low 90's in the ten day forecast.

@Grammy60 I hope Bob is doing well!

@DigMyChicks I like trees and such, living underground like that wouldn’t work for me either.

If it ever got bad enough to have to live 21 stories underground I’ll take myself out, I don’t want to be here for that.

Hope that headache is gone.

I think I read somewhere that a unit cost 2.5 million.
They have a penthouse too. I wonder if the penthouse is on top or bottom? If the goal is to survive it seems futher into the earth would be safer.

Doesn't it get more hot closer to the center?
