I got my driver's license! An interstate license sure would have made life simpler Janie.

But since DH says this is our "forever home", I splurged and paid a little extra for the 8 year Real ID license. I don't plan on flying anywhere, but with my mom being the age she is and living in WY, at some point in the future flying might be unavoidable.

Apple tv has a show based on a novel called the Silo. It is very dystopian and yes, there are skilled people to keep things running.

No vacation this year, but next year he'll come out and we'll have some fun. One of the things he wants to do is check out Mammoth Cave. I came across this interesting chart a while back and see where it's #1 on the list. It's fairly close by so easy enough to visit. I think Janie mentioned having gone there and she said it was fun.

We went to Shasta Caverns last month-- it is not on the list but is a nice cave to visit.

This is the fastest I’ve ever grocery shopped. I told the lady checking me out that I was in a hurry and not talking to her today. 🤣

I thought this last night! Well, we got our rain throughout the night and morning. So much cooler. So nice. Now we wait for the rain to stop so we can go out to pick some fresh veggies. Looks like we only get into the low 90's in the ten day forecast. 🙂
