We are heading into another heat wave. Hopefully it will be not as hot as predicted!

The grasshoppers are bad this year due to the drought. The bean plants are full of holes.

Mine all got eaten, twice

Not so easy. I can't imagine packing 2 large dogs, 3 cats, a grumpy old handicapped man, and 5 dozen (+) chickens into a moving van and hitting the road.

That would be the easy part! The hard part is getting all the "stuff" accumulated over decades sorted, packed and moved.

Best to bloom where we’re planted.

I was "planted" in So. Cal 10 miles south of Los Angeles. Nothing grows in asphalt.

I’m hoping my co-worker will want to eat and run. She’s driving. She likes to visit so I’m not holding my breath. One of our 4th grade teachers is the one getting married and I really like her. (Otherwise I’d have found an excuse not to go)
