The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Hi kiddo! I’m good, but sore and slow from yard work. How are you?
Aww I’m sorry! I was sore yesterday. Idk why. My back and butt muscles LOL I’m good today though. And feeling a lot better mentally too. I’m nervous about tomorrow though but oh well.

I hope you can relax and get a break from your thoughts. Physical labor helps me a lot with that, even if it’s just mundane tasks.

Thanks! Yesterday I was outside moving around a lot and it helped so maybe today I’ll do that too. I also am going to have clubhouse staff help me find a job after this program ends. And I’m sure once I actually get to the program and see what it’s like then I’ll be fine.

G’morning :) No yard work today, I need a break for a day or two. Might have hubs cut up the wood stumps for the bottom of the beds today though, he won’t let me use his chain saw :tongue

What are you doing today?
It's scrub the waterers and feeders day for me. My hubs bought a second set of tools, so he doesn't have to share. I'm not too great with a chainsaw so he doesn't have an extra. Truth be told I'm probably better off. I might lose an arm or a leg.

Good morning everyone

It sounds like a lot of work. I wish I were nearby. You need someone to spell you occasionally, so you can rest.
I would love to have someone to help, but its all on me, it feels good to stay busy and get rid of all this extra stuff

Good morning, Debby. I'll try and have a good trip. I kind of hate driving anymore. I'll have to reward myself with a nice cold coffee.
Same here! Hubby's been sick so my 10:00 appt yesterday for the two vaccinations I had to drive myself. It's 10 miles. I saw a deer 1/2 mile away and slammed on the brakes. As if. :he I made it there, and to a store even, then home without further incident. It's hard to believe that only about 8 years ago I was commuting 35 miles one way to work.
