The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Just like my DIL. She gets sick if someone else drives. One day I'm going to ask her what she did when her dad drove her and how she managed on the school buss.... I know from her comments about wanting a stick shift as it made her feel more in control than an automatic trans could. Then again maybe I just don't need to know. Not my battle. It's a shame though that when they drive from TX to AL that she can't take a break and drive more rested.
I have been horribly car-sick my entire life. I can't go on fair rides either unless it's bumper cars or something like that.

I just need to be in the front passenger seat is all and watch the scenery. If for whatever reason I have to have the back seat, I stick my head between the two front seats and watch the road.

It's like non-existent if we drive at night so if you want to drive, maybe suggest going at night?

It's scrub the waterers and feeders day for me. My hubs bought a second set of tools, so he doesn't have to share. I'm not too great with a chainsaw so he doesn't have an extra. Truth be told I'm probably better off. I might lose an arm or a leg.
I kinda feel like I might too so I’m ok with letting him deal with it.

Thanks! Yesterday I was outside moving around a lot and it helped so maybe today I’ll do that too. I also am going to have clubhouse staff help me find a job after this program ends. And I’m sure once I actually get to the program and see what it’s like then I’ll be fine.
A job will probably help you feel better about things. Have some bucks, gives you something to do too.

Yeah good points. If my anxiety doesn’t get in the way. But I’m determined to not let it this time cause I need money hahah
I hear you! I don’t like dealing with people face to face, not even coworkers, but working at home is pretty nice. Wear whatever you want to work and no commute.

I hope all of November stays like this. We should have waited to harvest until now.

We can put our parkas away for a week at least! Today, it's going to be a high of 55F! Woo hoo!

Our chickens are going to be all running around in bathing suits this week! :lau Oh, I bet @2ndTink can make it so.

That sounds nice! Maybe I could try that. I’m also scared I’m too dumb to figure out the modern registers even though I’m probably not dumb at all 🤣😭🙈
