On a dry year it’s good. I doubt it’s a good time planting if the spring is wet.No til saves so much fuel and soil from erosion. The fodder left on top of the ground should also help conserve moisture too. It's been 40 years since I was involved with farmers and equipment but no til at that time was the coming thing for some farmers. How it is now I don't know.
