No til saves so much fuel and soil from erosion. The fodder left on top of the ground should also help conserve moisture too. It's been 40 years since I was involved with farmers and equipment but no til at that time was the coming thing for some farmers. How it is now I don't know.
On a dry year it’s good. I doubt it’s a good time planting if the spring is wet.

In our area 15-20 years ago it was common, now we hardly ever see it anymore. The norm around here is to do a combination of chisel plowing, discing and culti-packing. In that order, all in one sweep.

Nothing fun! It’s a no till drill. Used ones are very hard to find. This one is in pretty good condition, but dirty. Hubby is buying it.

That's impressive. I think my husband would think that's fun. What do you plant with that? Corn?

Hi Janie! We are on our way back already. We’re going to stop at a Walmart somewhere along the way. I dread that more then the 400 plus miles.

DH decided he didn't want butternut squash for tomorrow's veg so he made a trip to the grocery store for asparagus. He said it was surprisingly not busy. Hope you have a not busy store visit too DMC!

Hi Troyer, I know you have a lot of animals...do you farm as well?

It wasn’t too bad. I didn’t leave pi**ed off  We should be home by 3:45 so I still have time to get some stuff done for tomorrow.
