Not well. Got to try and get some raw egg yolk in him today. 2 days before his med arrives. He still has most of his tongue but not the tip end of it. I'm staying home with him today while my wife goes alone to her pain mgt app. She sees the doc today for the first time. Closest one that takes our insurance is about 65 miles away. I'm just not up to the ride even today much less helping with the drive. She has plenty of oxygen for the trip.

Wishing Everyone a Well and Safe Holiday Week and New Year

I'm certain that once his tongue heals, he will be able to eat and drink on his own. Hopefully you can keep him hydrated and fed until then. I hope your wife has a safe trip.

It has been raining here this week. Hopefully we will get enough for the rest of the winter to avoid another drought year!

I'm going to see if I can influence my wife into baking some soft cream jumbles. I like soft cookies and chewy cookies but have problems with those that are hard. At least hard for me to break with my teeth.
