Yes!That's how it worked at the company I worked for 33 years. Banking all that time made for a nice payout when I retired.
I also have a a balance from something they call CAP (Capital Asset Program) that will be nice to get!

Good morning, Ron.We accrue sick leave for the entire time we work here. There is no limit for it.
My vacation hours are capped at 384 hours. I currently have 303 so need to add 81 hours before I retire.
ThanksYour post reminded me of a song:
We can donate sick leave too and I have done that but now I need to get back up to the maximum level for that payout!Good morning, Ron.
It was the same for my state retirement. Any left over vacation or sick days went toward retirement. We could also donate sick days for a pool that distributed them to people who had long term injuries. It's a good incentive to encourage people to work, rather than use every sick or vacation day as they earn it. (& yet some people still abused their sick days.)
Sunshine today - snow tomorrow. I was out this morning, and going back out after I finish lunch.Morning Sour, hope you're getting some sunshine today![]()
Good late morning everyone. The sun is shining but rain is supposed to move in later today. The way the wind is howling it must be going to do something.
