What the doc didn't tell me about the strain of covid is that it could still mess up taste buds... I just poured a glass of pineapple juice and there was not a hint of pineapple taste. Here we go again.

Sorry to hear that LTay, hope it resolves quickly. If I remember correctly, @DigMyChicks had a similar taste bud issue when she got sick some time back.

I did and it sucked. At first food tasted off…toothpaste tasted like petroleum. Then I completely lost taste and smell. The next time I got it the taste of food and smells was extremely distorted. That lasted a very long time. I still can’t handle the smells of certain deodorants and perfumes and dirt.

Most everything is back to normal, thank goodness! Covid, strep and influenza are going around school right now. A third grader tested positive for all 3. I hope I don’t catch anything else.
