The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Yesterday afternoon the weather was so nice, DH and I did part of the walk that goes around a big lake that's in the middle of town. It was great, there were people fishing and playing tennis and feeding ducks and pushing babies in strollers. We came across an old log house that was built by Abraham Lincoln's father that was cool to see. And a small family cemetery from the 1800's that had a guy that was abducted in an Indian raid and lived with his abductors for 12 years.

We had no idea all of that was hidden away in the center of town. Next time I'll take my phone and get a few pictures.
