What kind of mattress did you get? We got the Serta icomfort with the electric bed frame...cost us an arm and half a leg almost 2 years ago. I really don't love it.

Oh no, what don't you don't like about it?

We're getting a sleep number bed so we can adjust the sides to suit each of us. An arm and a leg is right, but if he can be comfortable and sleep it will be worth it.

I bought a "My Pillow" about a year ago, after listening to the store clerks spiel about it. She said I couldn't lose because I had (I think 60 day) trial and could return it. My sister has one and loves it (we never agree on anything - not even movies). I got one, used it a couple days and it went flat, worse than that it was noisy like some crackling. I took it back - then the clerk wasn't so pleasant, and gave me a good grilling before refunding my money.

BTW I got it at Bed, Bath & Beyond. You can use any of their 20% off cpns. which I did. Took $ 10 off but the tax was a bunch of money too. Now and then they have a 25% off $ 50 purchase - that would be better IF you want them.. You can sign up for their emails(with coupon) and use online also.

I ended up with two pillows from Kohls- Sealy brand at a ridiculously good price -Black Friday, 60% off- Kohls routinely has sales for the same things at 2-3 week intervals but, usually just 50 % off. But, I had been the recipient of $ 5. Kohls reward cash, and added 20% off AND qualified for $ 10. off cpn (for later use ) if spending $ 50. or more. I came up a little short for that amount so added 2- pillow protectors.. I thought I was rich. Of course the retail price is inflated but, was satisfied and I like the pillows. Can't say I am in love with them but if you smack them around they puff back up.

Morning, anyone up yet?

The wind has been howling all night long. It was blowing 41 mph around 2am and is still up around 32 mph. Makes for a noisy night!

Hey sunflour, hope you have a good day! And Buddy too of course...it sounds like he's making progress with his dental issue

Good morning, ladies.

I agree with SF - sounds like the kinda day to stay inside and do some baking

Hi Chris!

It's not really all that freezing cold, just the wind carrying on. I baked yesterday:

I tried out a new recipe from another member. They are chocolate cookies with marshmallow inside (well, mostly inside). They're too good to leave laying around so DH is going to pass most of them off on the 2 young guys that work for him.

I wonder how many will reach the hands of his staff

Good morning Debby! They eventually form to your body. It's not visible when you look at it but when you lay in it ,it indents. They are hard to roll over in especially if you sweat at all! They should be made thicker too. The sad thing is we bought the adjustable bed frame so unless you want to throw $1500 out the door for that you have to buy another mattress like this. I think the next one we buy will be the best one they make, this was second in line. I used to wake up with back aches and that has gone away so I shouldn't complain. We paid almost $3000 for the set. My friend has a knock off of the sleep number which was still expensive. She doesn't like iit but her husband does. I hope you love yours for what they cost. If you don't, don't be afraid to return it.
