Morning LTay! Good luck with your garden work today. I want to get a few jumbo sized pots to grow a couple of things in. I'm going to try to put the pots up on blocks to keep the groundhogs from bothering the plants.

You're right about the crazy food prices. I read an article yesterday that said prices were up 19% from pre-pandemic levels. To me, they seem higher than that.

Had a scare this morning with a bloody toilet when I went to go throw up (nauseous) but turns out it was from my nose NOT my mouth but still scary! It was a LOT of blood! I was like what the heck!?!?!?!? Even after I figured it out. Especially cause at that point it was still coming out super fast. It’s since stopped. Had a migraine this morning which I think caused it. I took the rescue med this morning it was that bad.

Somethings are up 100% that 19% is an average the get by tweaking in a lot of non popular foods that is not in demand and thus did not go up in price because they are not really needed or wanted. $6 dollars for a 5lb bag of flour is about a 50% increase I think. I showed by wife a package that had 3 pieces of beef shank for soup that were over $15. And they had a log of fat. Canned tomatoes are higher than ever. I'm growing tomatoes to can and make sauce for pasta. I'm planting sweet corn and if I can get the seed some stock corn that I can make scratch out of for the chickens. I just came in for a break and a glass of tea. In about 30 minutes we will have grilled cheese with turkey and bread and butter pickles on sandwiches. Meanwhile I might dose off. :)
