I might have to improvise something with chicken wire. My neighbors probably wouldn't be happy with a shot gun blast

Then pick them off one by one with a BB gun. A sling shot. Bow and arrow. Just don't let them long hair tailed rats mess up a good garden. Your source of healthy food.

I can sleep through a shotgun blast. I have neighbors that target shoot a lot. I've watched the neighbor across the road target shoot off of his porch. I hear neighbors not far down the road shooting a semi auto rifle of some kind. I like it as it keeps the coyotes away from me and my chickens.

I just took a long restful nap during an afternoon of rain. I'm sore from my toenails to the hair on my head from bending and crawling on the ground planting about 300 onion plants yesterday. Hopefully we will be eating burgers with sweet onion and onion rings. Then onion rings from the freezer after the season is over.

I'm up way past my bedtime and still hope to get up early and put in a good days work with the chickens and planting tomorrow. It's someone else's turn for rain tomorrow.
