So it started snowing this morning. The prediction was for an 1". We passed that some time back. Now the prediction is for 5".

I'll send an sos when it gets up to my waist or I can't open the house door, whichever comes first. Anyone have a dog sled?
 
So far Ken has measured 11 inches and it's still coming down so hard I can't see the kids' house across the street. <sigh> He's swept off the deck at least 4 times, cleared the walks almost that many, and knocked snow down off the run. I gotta get a picture of it out there....hold on....
 
This is a win I'll gladly do without! Your turn's coming...you start getting really nailed in February or so and you end up far worse off than we are right now. Neighbor just stopped over. Ken took the truck and was tamping down the snow in front of Kenny and Jenny's house so they could safely get Kendra in. Bob told me he was sending Ken in to warm up and he was going to work on the kids' place with his bobcat...just in the last few minutes there's been a slight lull in the snowfall....but the western sky is still mighty dark.
 
No really Blooie, you can have these wins, it's ok I don't mind!

What a nice neighbor you have to help out like that.

Wow, you have had a lot more than me, at least so far this winter. Now you have me dreading February!
 
Our heavy wet snow yesterday turned to concrete today under lower temperatures and is horrible to shovel, my back is killing me.
