My vet tried to give me a kitten. She even offered free vet care for it. I said no ma'am, two cats and a dog (not to mention all the chicken expenses) are enough.

Luckily I am able to take care of the 'small stuff'. My veterinarian and I have been friends for more than 50 yeas, and I get a 30% bill discount.

I do for sure. It's amazing how a few favors can reap great rewards. The problem is that Jim is almost as old as me, and someday he will have to retire.
