Good morning DMC, are you working in the garden today?

Hi Debby! No, I picked tomatoes and pulled bean plants yesterday.

It is so nice out. I get to have the windows open all week. Running the A/C was getting old.

Hattie goes to the vet this morning for her yearly checkup and shots. She will not be thrilled. It takes 2 of us to do the job. She dislikes other animals. I go in first and ask if there are any cats wandering around. They weigh her and she goes right to a room. She’s having problems getting up. I’m hoping she’s not getting hip problems. She’s only 7.

An apple, yes’m. It is supposed to energize you like caffeine.

I have cut back a lot of caffeine. I only have one cup of coffee per day and it’s a small one now. Those lack of caffeine headaches can be horrible so I’m backing off slowly too.

Interesting!!! I’ll have to try that!!!

And yeah the headaches suck

Thanks, we’re home. It was very busy there. She embarrassed herself. She put on a good show for everyone. The vet told us to start her on glucosamine. She said her hips were really tight. She’s a big girl and needs 2 a day. If I go through the clinic it’s $92 for a 30 day supply. Ouch! We got a free sample pack which is 8 days worth and she liked them.
