Seems like it's always raining in NC. Guess that's like it seems to always be snowing in WY.

Good morning, my caffeinated (and otherwise!) compadres! I hope there's some coffee left on the coffee thread, 'cause I'm gonna need it.

Actually, things haven't been too bad around here this winter; a lot of the rain that has been forecast didn't quite make it here. We joke about the summer weather systems doing the "Wilmington Split" and passing on either side of us; it seems that's been in effect this winter, too. So we're a bit mucky, but not horrible. The mild weather we've had this past week has been wonderful, but I've lived here long enough to know better than to get too used to it. Scott, I hope you don't get anywhere near that much rain! 2 to 4 inches in a summertime thunderstorm is no biggie - sploosh and it's gone, almost as fast as it fell. But I swar, inches of wintertime rain seem to translate into feet of mud.

Wasn't on much at all yesterday and come in this morning to 58 new posts! Wow, you all have been busy!

Debby, I'm sorry about the kerfluffle with the mattress! Customer service seems to be a pipe dream anymore. <sigh>

Snow? Yep, it's winter and we are getting it! Supposed to move in tomorrow morning and continue all day. But I gotta admit it was nice to wake up this morning and not see a minus sign in front the number!

Another jam-packed day around here today, so might be like yesterday as far as popping in and out of here goes.

Amen about the minus sign.... Sorry about the bed.... Stick it to them.... They make huge money selling that stuff. When they screw up they need to man up.... (or lady up.... Equal opportunity here)
