DH got a nice surprise the other day. He was called into a meeting at work, thought he was in trouble. Our medical insurance policy goes from June to June, but BCBS uses an annual deductible that follows the calendar year. So when our policy renews in June they can increase our deductible. If we pay that deductible from June through December, but DH has a procedure in January then we have to pay again starting January. This has kept him from getting his knees replaced, and they are BAD. His employer is going to pay the out of pocket and if his 300 hours of PTO isn’t enough bough to cover his time off they’ll pay his salary. He cried.

G’morning everyone. I found the secret to getting some rain; buy chicks and make their temp housing in a screened in space without a solid roof. Guaranteed to bring rain to your parched, desert town. Even if it has been months since you got any. I gotta go check on em now, have a good day all.
