I have to find my birth certificate to take another stab at getting my driver's license. The 1st time I went to the DMV, I had it but was missing another form of id. The 2nd time I went, had the other forms of id but forgot my birth cert. Maybe the 3rd time will be a charm?

Yep, seen it.

Part of the hang up is we don't get mail to our physical address...it's not optional, everyone here, even those living in our tiny town, has to have a PO box. I had to get a letter from my bank to prove my physical location. And because I was married before, have to show my divorce decree from that marriage and the marriage certificate to DH.

My FL dl doesn't expire for a few more years, it might be easier to keep that one and just fly to FL when the time comes to renew, lol.

What about a statement from the course owners to verify your on site residency and why you have a P.O Box??

Sorry DMC, I didn't get the young man's name. Just that he had graduated from college and wanted his own home instead of living with mom & dad. His mother was kind of funny, she was so worried he would freeze in his new little house and kept complaining about the lack of kitchen cupboard space.

The tiny houses have intrigued me for quite a while but some of them are TOO tiny. No way I'd feel comfortable in something as small as 65 sq. feet. And DH would never agree to one, he's the real pack rat.

They gave one to DH but it only had his name on it. That's because he's a full time employee and I'm just seasonal.
