Good luck! I’m going to the clubhouse today. Probably won’t stay up tonight though. Too late for me. might go to the clubhouse tomorrow too, idk yet lol my face is killin me lol I gotta go to a doctor but I have an appointment the 9th but I can’t wait that long I don’t think. Might need to go into the walk in urgent clinic thing. But they’re probably closed New Years.

I got news for ya, it has spread to family in California too. My FIL dislocated his shoulder and skinned himself up real bad. Says he was taking in the trash cans and denies falling but nobody is buying that. My SIL was hit by another driver, t boned, just a few minutes after dropping off a 90+ year old aunt at home. Car is total loss. She was going to use MIL’s wheel chair van to take sick dog to vet but it has a check engine light. I say to H E double hockey sticks with 2024.

Geez. I'm sorry to read of all these accidents and hope everyone recovers soon. I hope someone can get the dog to the vet as well

Happy New Year's Eve! I hope your DH feels better soon and I really hope you don't get sick, either!

We don't have any plans.

There's a pullet that's not roosting with everyone else. I looked for over a 1/2 hour for her last night and couldn't find her, so my only plan is to try to figure out where she's going!

We were going to light off some Chinese lanterns last night, but didn't. Maybe tonight? But my sister is going home today, so it won't be as fun.

Sounds like you may have a broody hen!
I'm glad you had a visit with your birthday partner. Tell her to have a safe trip home.

Ear and jaw are killing me at least yesterday and Sunday. Today just jaw. The quick care near me is open today until 4 (usually 7) and tomorrow till 7.

Thanks! It was probably the most mellow we've kept it. I did have her go into my appointment for me. It was mostly for fun. I didn't do enough debriefing, I'm sure, so I think her "guilty look" kind of gave it away, but it was still entertaining.

This pullet isn't laying yet--she's just 20 weeks. There are some trusses above our sheep hay feeders that my partner suggested I look tonight, so that could be where she is sleeping. I looked everywhere else!

Thank you Marie. It’s all getting better and I’m pretty sure the dog went to the vet anyway. Dogs are like children in our family, both mine and DHs.
