If you are interested in reading some of his newer books that are similar to his old style, check out the Mr Mercedes trilogy. And 11/22/63 is really good too.

I'll agree with you about Misery, Kathy Bates and James Caan were great! I read The Institute and it wasn't bad. I see they've made a movie out of that too, but haven't seen it yet.

I've read Mr. Mercedes. My daughter recommended it. I haven't read 11/22/63 but I will check that out. I'm considering getting a library card from a library that rents ebooks. I have so many kindle books in my queue that I need to live another 25 years to get to them all.

Hello! We got some smoke blowing in today, don't know from where, I'll have to check the fire map and see if it's been updated.

I might have a guy interested in buying 36 sheep. That would be nice if it that happens. There's a few people interested now, so that's always a fun game to play.

Anyways, that's all the news from here! The chicks are getting big. (Sorry not a good picture, I will have to get a better one. There's one questionable one, too, but I think it's still 3/8 pullets or a perfect 50-50 split. I will take it.)

Hi Jen, cute picture of the little ones! Hope the sheep sale goes through smoothly. I read the other day about fires in California and in Canada, maybe smoke from one of those?

That's nice of him! Sounds gourmet! I love burgers on the grill (and bacon on the grill as long as you don't burn it!) We probably need to get some more BBQ'n in before the summer's over.
