I got in a hurry and baked it last night... not my best loaf, I didn't even want to take a picture of it.

I usually do an overnight proof and that works much better!

This is how they usually turn out.

That’s beautiful! I bake mine in loaf pans. I tried Dutch ovens but the bottoms were always too hard for me to cut through.

I used to bake mine in Folgers Coffee cans. I never drank coffee but my dad would trade me three empty cans for one loaf of bread.
The can imprints made perfect groves for cutting thick slices.
