I bought this old sled, this sour dough knife, and an ornament. We went to Hobby Lobby and I bought more things I didn’t need. It was a fun day. We did have to call my friend’s husband because there was something wrong with her vehicle. Luckily he was on the way to town so we switched vehicles with him.

Love the sled and the knife!

I thought about getting one like that. But that one's way prettier. Hubs bought me a different one that does an amazing job.

Glad you had fun. I'm heading back to Hobby Lobby on Sunday. I'm buying some new ornaments for our tree. I've decided to have a different color theme this year. Blue, silver & white. I've always been very traditional and our ornaments are the ones the kids made or we made or we bought for them each Christmas.

The leathered finish feels and looks so nice. We saved up for quite a while before we did our remodel, in the hope we'd be able purchase stone. Remodeling one room at a time over several years, started in 2011. We have marble in our powder room. It was such a small counter, we bought a scrap piece and hubs actually did the cutting and polish on it and then installed it. The laundry and guest bath have granite. We're getting ready to remodel the master bath. Just now starting to decide what we're going to put in. That will be our last room to remodel.

My former brother in law talked me into the leathered granite. I told him I didn’t like granite and he suggested the leathered. I love it. He has a granite fabrication business. I paid $200 with installation. I wish he was still my brother in law so I could afford to put it in my kitchen. I got that family discount.

Is Hobby Lobby open tomorrow? I love that store. I bought 2 new mugs and a picture, plus several other things that I didn’t need.

DMC and Rene, you guys are a bad influence...I was in Hobby Lobby a couple days ago debating on a new holiday coffee mug. I was strong and left without one, but now I'm rethinking that decision.
