Chardonnay and sinuses? I'm amazed you could get started at all, fast or slow!

Thanks for making me spit pop out of my nose, Sour! Hissing nuthatches- bet you moved pretty good!

Niece Brianna (Bree) opted to sit Irma out. Wouldn't be so bad if she was up north or further inland but she's in Bonita Springs! Next time I see her I'm gonna strangle her for making us worry like this! Hope Linda is sitting on her shoulder right now - she's gonna need a guardian angel!

Soooo....you're familiar with this mix?

Here's to hoping your niece gets through Irma safely B. I know our friends in Key West are staying put. They stay because they worry about their homes & stores being looted, about not being able to get back when they want and they stay because they've ridden through storms before and made it ok. This storm worries me, Irma is huge, bigger than Hurricane Andrew that did so much damage. I'm trying not to check on the newest reports but they keep sucking me in. I guess we'll know more between Sunday and Monday.

Here's a cute distraction from worrying about that awful hurricane. I don't think I could leave my home if I were in that situation - where could I go with all my animals in tow?

Our cockatiel chicks are getting used to strange noises, TV, cats, children, seeing trees waving round in the awful wind out the window (the weather here is cold, rainy, windy, awful). They don't like me whistling a tune or laughing at them at this point in time, coughing they are getting used to (only because I have an annoying, lingering cough from a cold I had ages ago). They are so funny and cute. Excuse the white ones grubby faces - not sure how I missed so much food, and they are the ones that eat more cleanly than the older ones! We've given them all names (how could we not as we'll be looking after them for another 9ish weeks until they are fully weaned).

Here's our quiet Pineapple snuggling with my daughter:

Cricket (who is quite a doll and the littlest):

Vanilla who is much more relaxed than he was and really rather sweet:

And the adorable Teddy:

Cute little porcupines. They are adorable. I used to breed budgies long ago and enjoyed hand taming them.

You are full of surprises, don't think you've mentioned your budgies experience before:)

@N F C - hope your sinus thing is improving.

Prayers to those who stayed in Key West, looks like it is right in Irma's eye :fl.

We are predicted to get rain and sustained winds of around 40-45 with higher gusts even in middle Ga Mon-Tue - so, we are removing anything outside that could go airborne. Traffic here is crazy with the evacuees in town.
