The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Um, me too. That's really sad. Hubby needed to shut her down but I guess he's a nice guy and didn't want to offend.

Still, he has to LIVE with you, maybe that should override "nice". Have you given him the key to the doghouse yet? :hmm
No, he has a good excuse. He's Canadian.:lau

Happy Birthday again @sunflour . My bunnies just had babies so please come pick a few out for your birthday, I definitely don't need anymore. Apparently Pokey my lionhead doe isn't a doe, help.
That is your fault for calling her Pokey. Had to turn into a boy to live up to his name!

But Pokey was the horse, I saw nothing to indicate male, but maybe it was in the dialogue.

I don't know how anyone could tell from the looks of either of them...

Please can we have a photo? Pleeeease? Baby bunnies are so adorable! Which breed are they? Oh dear about Pokey. I don't know the programme 'Gumby and Pokey'.

Happy Birthday again @sunflour (yay, that worked for me today). Hope you had a relaxing one!

I might get some washing dry today as it's actually sunny - we had a very wet day yesterday (and for many days before that) and I chose to go outside to take the dog for a toilet stop just as a thunderstorm was moving in, so that was rather exciting. Thankfully our dog isn't scared of anything like that. We got back inside before the hail started. But our backyard is so boggy and I got a foot stuck in the mud this morning. It took about 20 seconds for me to wriggle and pull my boot free.

I didn't take any photos today I was too much in shock. I will get some in the coming days. They are a mini lop and lionhead mix, so they will be stinking cute.

This is dad, with hay in his hair. It was a girl up to this point, at least in my head, but know I must accept that it's a boy. It feels like a Maury Povitz episode, "Pokey, you are the father."

I have been stuck in the mud badly too in my lifetime, I have even lost my boots, I'm glad you escaped.
