I wouldn't go that far to say milk is gross. Those sugars are key to the newborn calf to get it up and going, especially if the calf's brown fat reserves have been used up.Plus it's nutritious for us...not just empty calories and sugar. Moderation is the key to most foods.
I drink water for all my meals and finish with a coffee/tea. I start with a glass of water plus my meds before I make the coffee for my breakfast. That way I start out hydrated. Water also can help to control food cravings...because you're body's really needing water, not food. I'm making myself thirsty writing this. Going for a glass!![]()
Hmmmm, sounds familiar....lol!! View attachment 1187921
We could be!We could always be drinking worse things, right?
We could be!
It could result in more fun or more pain. It just depends.![]()
The song i keep singing and thinking of is Timothy. What song?
Yeah, it's amazing how much sugar there is in everything! Yet I still eat it ha I knew ranch had sugar but didn't realize it had quite that much!! I've been buying these prepackaged salads lately that just come with a little cup of dressing. It's barely enough but probably good for calories and sugar. They are very expensive though so I might have to just start making my own and using less dressing hah
And yes, milk has so much sugar! It's gross. Yet I drink a lot of it. Not as much as I used to but with snacks and stuff.
Or with cereal. And we have these huge bowls, not sure how big they are but they're quite large, and I fill them almost to the top with cereal and then same with milk. Wayyyyy more than the serving size.
But thankfully I don't really like cereal that much anymore. Doesn't fill me up like it used to and for some reason sometimes the grain or milk makes me sick or scrapes up my mouth? Especially with honey nut Cheerios.
As for water, usually I don't drink anything almost all day or at least barely anything and then I'm thirsty and drink a ton right before bed. OR. When I do drink, I don't sip anymore. I chug bottles or glasses of water really fast
Yep! Exactly what I was thinking!Lol, maybe first the fun and then the pain!
Here too.Wow, the wind is howling already this morning. We usually don't get a lot of wind until afternoon. I better put some lead boots on the chickens today to keep them from blowing away.
It's supposed to rain later with a possibility of it turning into snow. Winter started a lot earlier here this year than last.
