The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

@KDOGG331 I'm sorry about your Penny. Why is it always our favourites who die too young?!

@Teila Sorry about your car! It costs a ridiculous amount down here too. My DH's father was a mechanic but wanted 'better things' for his sons. He made my DH get an Engineering degree (which he didn't want to do, didn't persue a career in, but the things learnt have come in handy sometimes). My DH really wishes his Dad had taught him everything he knew about being a mechanic!

Here are my little slugs all full of food and still yelling their heads off:

I had to find them a bigger nest today as they'd outgrown the old one.

And my two new cockatiel chicks who both took to the food immediately, following the older ones lead:

I've got my difficult baby eating well out of an eye dropper thankfully. It seems to like being fed by itself too. Nothing like being fussy!

Thank you! I think predators seem to know which ones are the favorites and target them :p

And cute babies!

JaeG seems like every batch you raise is cuter than the ones before - you have such a knack with them :clap

I fear I will have baby cockatiel withdrawal once they have all grown up and gone to their new homes! They are pretty darn cute, especially when they are all pin feathers. I'm really glad we are keeping three of our babies.

My Neon was playing with a bell today that they'd managed to unhook from their mirror. She was so cute picking it up and ringing it!

@Teila glad there won't be any major work to be done on your car (although any work done on a car can be a pain)!

J, I think Neon was ringing for maid service :gig What a cutie!

Maybe some people are just browsing for knowledge don't figure they have much to add for a time. Especially if they haven't yet gotten their animals so they have no personal experience.

But anyone can read stuff here without being a member. You just have to be a member to post stuff. Just seems curious to me (and the number of occurrences seen just this morning) :idunno
