I should qualify the statement as I've only got about 10 mature hens, all the rest are pullets not at POL yet. I don't expect the ducks to start again until spring and they did most of the heavy lifting.

Question (and remember, this is a non-duck person)...do ducks molt and stop laying like chickens? Or do they stop because of the shorter daylight hours? Maybe both reasons?

Cleaned out part of one coop, spread the litter out on the ground in my garden. Excited we are getting a few loads of topsoil near where i planted the berry bushes. And fill where i want the green house. The guy came today who did our driveway and gave us a quote.
