Well we are staying overnight and we parked at the hotel and took a shuttle. We actually missed the hotel chrck in entrance so dropped my mom and brither and gf off then found our hotel and took the shuttle over

Anyway, long story short (idk why i always make every story longer than necessary) we parked at the hotel and took the hotel shuttle over

I am collecting fabric for another chicken quilt! I think i may have close to enough for a wildlife quilt.

Have fun... My DD is much older than you I suspect, but best most entertaining $20 I ever spent was in a casino in ACY. Gave her the money and let her have fun. In the end she won... She gave me the $20 back and another $5 or $10 before she broke the bank.

ETA: 1 arm bandits can be good or bad, it all just depends.

first machine i put a $5 in then a $20, won $102! After that on other machines i kept going instead of cashing out lol sometimes im good sometimes im bad. Probably spent 30 plus some vouchers on other machines, won another 60. And kust won 23 from a 20. I was up to 35

Stay away from the "wheel of fortune".

first machine i put a $5 in then a $20

Been a LONG time since I've been to a casino. Actually it was on my way here from So. Cal in 1979. I decided I would quit when I lost $50. Did so, went to bed, got up and drove another 8 hours.

I don't think I could bring myself to drop $5 in a machine let alone $20.

There's a casino in Riverton we like to go to...neither of us gamble but one of the restaurants there has THE best lobster - huge, always cooked perfectly, and not real expensive. We had to make a trip down there while Jamie was home on leave from the Navy one year, so we took him with us. Now, remember that we raised Jamie, and he definitely wasn't raised to drop money into another person's hand So we're walking through the casino to get to the restaurant (they do that on purpose!) and he stopped and pulled some money out of his wallet.

"I'm gonna try this just this one time, Gramma."

"I'm not sure that's a good idea, Jamie," I told him. "But it's your money, I guess."

He eagerly picked out a machine that 'looked like a good one' and sat down in the chair.

I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Jamie, never bet your money on another man's game."

He dropped a dollar in the machine. I pointed out where the restaurant was and told him we'd go get a table and wait for him, but not for long.

He came strutting into the Red Willow with $200.00 he didn't have when we parked the car, and still had all of his "seed money" besides. <sigh> "Okay, Jamie," I told him. "You were right. As a reward for your persistence, you get to buy dinner."
