The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Had lunch with a friend. She had a wart on her forehead and had been using wart remover. We were sitting across from each other. I looked up and noticed her wart was slowly sliding down her face. Didn't want to embarrass her by mentioning
it.

It was so gross I looked away. When I looked back it had disappeared. I'm certain it slipped off into the salad she was eating. I just wanted to barf but didn't. You can't unsee something like that . :sick

:sick:sick:gig

I was 38 yrs.old and in labor 28 hours - baby was head down but facing my back. I had back labor which was excruciating -& non productive, so they did a cesarian. Dumb me, I thought as soon as the stitches/staples came out it wouldn't hurt anymore. Plus thought I'd get my somewhat fit stomach back - no way. Didn't lose the 25 extra lbs. that were left over.
Have been building on that foundation ever since. :barnie

28 hours, oh my...wish they had just done the c section at the beginning :hugs

Squirrels > Warts > Childbirth … sorry to the fella’s :p

As you may know, I have one 31 year old son.

I was watching the Wimbledon Tennis Final on the Sunday night and had no idea that my waters had broken .. went to bed and had the first full night’s sleep in months!

Woke up the next morning thinking hhhhhm, something does not feel right; might get my sister to drive me to the hospital for a check. When we arrived, I asked her to hang around so that she could drive me home again cos I did not think I was staying. Hubby [now X] trotted off to work.

When we got to the hospital and I explained what happened the hospital staff went in to conniptions .. my waters had broken the night before, I was in labour and my contractions were apparently minutes apart! Contractions? What contractions?

I had probably 30mins of pain and contractions, eased with happy gas, that I could actually feel and my son was born mid morning. No stitches, nothing .. sitting up in bed at lunch time, after a shower, nursing my 7 pound 7 ounce bundle born on 7th of the 7th month :love

That was how mine was exactly! They said it’s very hard to deliver a baby that way. They had to call in another doctor as mine didn’t do c-sections... of course that was after they gave me a shot of pitosin which gave me contractions that kicked my butt...

When I was 4 weeks past due, the doc sent me in for monitoring. The nurse told me to tell her when I was having a contraction. Not knowing what a contraction felt like I never said anything. She had to tell me what was happening

At least I wasn't carrying on like the woman in the bay next to me. She was yelling, moaning, crying, the whole works. I asked my nurse if she was in labor...nope, she had just eaten a whole bunch of green bananas and was having horrible stomach pains :gig
