The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

You are one lucky lady!

Yep! I guess not being a small framed person and nearly 6ft tall does have it's advantages sometimes ;)

When I was 4 weeks past due, the doc sent me in for monitoring. The nurse told me to tell her when I was having a contraction. Not knowing what a contraction felt like I never said anything. She had to tell me what was happening

At least I wasn't carrying on like the woman in the bay next to me. She was yelling, moaning, crying, the whole works. I asked my nurse if she was in labor...nope, she had just eaten a whole bunch of green bananas and was having horrible stomach pains :gig

:gig

I was like  when they told me I was having contractions.

I had silent labour for a month before our daughter was born. The morning of the day I had her I was 7cm dilated and still feeling nothing. It wasn't until that night I started to feel it and it all happened very quickly. Thankfully we got to hospital because it didn't end so well. She came out with her arm up so I tore badly, plus haemorrhaged very badly but not quite badly enough to be given blood.

Next time around everything went to plan and it was a quick labour also. Whew!

We are finally getting some rain here. It's not heavy, just steady. At least there'll be a bit of water trickling into the tanks. I was hoping for a good downpour to flush out the stream for the poor eels.

It seems like you've been dry for some time now J, hope you get a good downpour to fill up those tanks soon!

I hope you and the eels get some decent rain! We are also predicted to get some today, hopefully from a tropical storm :fl
