It's so hot here. Teila, I don't know how you do it! I'm melting here and it's no where near as hot as where you are. The house got up to 30C/86.5F last night. It's currently just under 27C/80.4F. This is February weather (a particularly hot one too)!

Cap, I'll take your rain. My poor vegetable garden is wilting. I've given it as much water as I dare. Thankfully we can take the kids for a swim later. It helps temporarily at least.

We are at 1* right now. The day before yesterday we were 40. We had 4 blissful “warm” days and then reality slapped us in the face yesterday. I’d hate the heat you and Teila get.

Cap, what I'm getting is heading your way. When I got up this am it was 60* and raining. It's now 26* and my deck and stairs and driveway are covered in ice. They say snow is on the way, but what's falling is a lot like miniature hail. Looks like snow on the ground but is ice none-the-less. Leading edge of this storm is hitting S Ohio, so we're in for a doozy. I'm not going anywhere until Monday and will have to deice the driveway by hand Sunday night. Just a little 1/4 mile walk over 400 feet of elevation. ARG :he

Our driveway is gravel, 400 feet long at the end of a dirt road not maintained by the county. It should be interesting if we get freezing rain and snow.
