The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I have 2 more molting, a black sex link which is a spring hatch and a barred rock which is one of my older girls. She looks like she’s been through a blender...the poor girl.
Sounds like Echo's first adult moult ... when she was 1.5 years old, started the end of January. Makes as much sense there as it does here. She also looked horrible but handled the way sub 0°F temps just fine. Started back laying 2 months later.

Almost, it is 8:40 PM here :D

Too many helpless people, or too many code errors. I suggest better testing before release :lau

Sadly, not sleep time here :(

This time, something broke! You would think after 18 years with the company, when I say that there is an issue, someone would pay attention but No, I have to jump up and down and mention multiple times that there is an issue before something gets done :he

"I can't see an issue on xxxx" Obviously means there is not an issue! [sarcasm intended]

The constant flow of HD's and my advisement that there is an issue must be incorrect [sarcasm also intended].

Plus, snarky help desk comments from the users with a nice topping of attitude do not make for a nice work environment. Oh how I wish the HD software had a 'block' option :p

I just bought our dog one of those looped shedding blade thingees. Wow - so much hair came off her it looked like it had snowed! It's amazing! My new favourite thing for sure - our dog seems to shed constantly and her fur is mostly white. It's short and coarse too and gets stuck in the foam filter of our stick vacuum that's supposed to be for pets. I have to pick most of it out to clean the filter (not my favourite job).

I now have 11 little baby quail with more on the way. :celebrate Incubators are terrible things! All my eggs that have been fertile have hatched so far. Tomorrow we are selling 16 males and 8 female adult quails to the petshop, along with 8 young bourkes, so that will thin out the herd a bit.

Just wanted to share some photos of our beautiful Hawkmoth who I am now sure is a girl after I saw her squatting and cheeping at our male cockatiel. She's so big and puffy and sweet and cuddly.

I get that here too!

The last one took two weeks to get approval from the change committee to fix what they broke
