Good Morning Friends and Happy Valentine’s Day!



For Valentine’s Day I got a “Ditto”

Me: Happy Valentine’s Babe, I love you.

Hubby: Ditto

Aaaaw, Sable is a cutie!

I got nuff'n, which is a good thing cos I am too tired to type Still hovering around the 98-100/day HD requests. Hopefully today will be a better day

Predicted maximum today is 97F

Oh, I do have some not so good news My sister breeds and shows Rough Collies. She only has 4 or 5 and they live in the house with the cats, not just show dogs but very much loved members of the family. Just a week or so ago, she lost one of her 3 year old girls to a uterine infection. She has a very special little man who she imported from Sweden to Australia [lots of $$$$$$'s]. He is around 9 or 10 years old now I think. Anyways, he is at the Vets, very sick with possible vestibular disease or worse case scenario, a brain tumour. He can not stand on his own and the prognosis is not good. However, as we did with Syba, we are rallying around and calling on the powers of positive thinking ... So, can you please keep Castor in your thoughts and hope for a good outcome

Castor is beautiful! My DD wants a rough coated collie. Hopefully the vets will figure out what's going on.

I have a little quail chick who has pipped but it's not peeping at all so I'm not hopeful that it will hatch. It hasn't progressed for at least 24 hours.

Yes, Happy Valentines. I told hubby he could drive me up north to buy me some quail chicks for my present.

A late good morning to everyone

Stayed up late finishing a book that has to go back to the library today. This morning I was trying to remember how it ended. Maybe I wasn't so very awake toward the last few pages

@Teila hope today is going better for you! It sounds like your boss is a bit 'unaware' as so many are.

@DigMyChicks if you wouldn't mind giving up a couple of the houses you clean for, I say go for it! It's hard enough keeping just 1 house clean (at least for me), can't imagine trying to clean 16 of them + my own.

Time to drink some more coffee, I'll catch up later!

I cleaned the awful house today. It looks like she tried to keep it somewhat clean. I wasn’t overwhelmed today and got an extra $20 to boot. Her last cleaning lady got overwhelmed and quit. She came home one day from work and found the house keeper drunk. I told her she’d never have to worry about that with me. I’d just quit. The worst is she has 3 dogs in the house(small)and they do their business wherever they want. When I’ve had enough I will quit

That house does sound bad DMC. I take it the husband is the one that wants someone to come in and clean? Otherwise, I can't figure why someone would worry about a clean house but let their animals do their outside business inside.
