Don't "they" say opposites attract? My father had a very warped sense of humor and my mother had none!!
Her father was very serious, her mother was full of fun and always laughing. Really loved my grandma. She would tell a story, only she could understand, and laugh till tears ran down her face.

Love this little town (been there before)...nice people, mom & pop restaurants/shops. It's where we got on this train and headed off for a day at the Grand Canyon.

No suntanning going on here, it was in the low 30's and we walked around with hand warmers in our pockets.

It sure is GRAND, isn't it? We visited it on our 25th anniversary.

Waiting on my primary to sign the order for my biopsy, and he is gone for a week. But because i called again, it is being handled by another dr.

Not sure how I'm getting through the day (severe lack of sleep thanks to kids and cats) but those photos sure helped, Debby. It looks so peaceful in those wide open spaces and that black panther is gorgeous!

Glad your docs are using some common sense Cap and signing off asap. You don't need that worry on your shoulders for any longer than is absolutely necessary.

I must post a photo of my most recent quail hatchling. It's pretty darn cute and I have no idea how it will turn out as it's head colour and body colour don't match up! Just need to download the camera.

I have a 5cm abnormality that i am pretty sure is cancer after talking to radiologist. They are holding the first available biopsy slot for me on the 20th, waiting for that order.

Welcome home, Debby!!! Um, good luck on that catching up stuff...I was only off yesterday afternoon and I'm catching up!!

Great vacation, great photos! Did you know that Moissanite comes from a meteor crater? It's a gorgeous stone - more sparkly than a diamond and even stumped my jeweler when I took my ring to him to be resized. Stunning in jewelry. J.C.Penney's used to carry a whole line of moissanite jewlery, but I don't know if they still do or not.

No resolution on the couch.....drove all the way to the furniture store to show them the photos and video and demand a replacement. They are closed on Mondays. DAM!! Shouldda called first. <sigh> Just left my paperwork for it in the car and I'll go back down this morning. I have to run down to the drug store, 2 blocks from the furniture store, and pick up Kendra's medicine anyway, then take it down to her and give her the 9 pills, since she didn't have enough for her morning dose. Hate it when Jenny doesn't follow through on stuff, and I almost told her no, but don't want Kendra's medicine schedule getting messed up. Sometimes I think she counts on that....too much.
