My dad thought that I shouldn't have even planted, he wanted to just exclusively buy started plants cause he thinks starting seeds is a pain in the rear. Personally I think it is fun and I love watching them come up and start growing and how small they start compared to how big they get.

If HE had to do it it might be a PITA for him but since you are doing it, he shouldn't care Don't bother with the peppers, at this point you need to buy started plants. Peppers are slow growers and we just don't have a long enough season to start with seeds now unless you have a greenhouse for the fall. Start the peppers in February next year.

You need a greenhouse @Michelle Farmer-Brown !! Even a plastic covered hoop house made from cattle panels would extend your season.

Yup.
Been collecting windows at the dump. With everything that is going on this year sadly we're not going to do a garden this year though.

There are things I can't grow here though--Not everything can take the heat of summer here.

I will like a zone 7 much better
