Finally caught up again! Your chickens sound happy in their new home, Kelsey. Glad the change over wasn't too traumatic for them.
We have some banana palms flowering in our garden and Mr Tui came to drink the nectar this morning so that was a bit of a thrill. I took some photos through the kitchen window so they aren't great, but it was wonderful for the kids to see him so close and thankfully he didn't seem to notice us. Usually he's on the highest branch he can find chortling and honking away to anyone who will listen. The poor banana palms are pretty tattered at the moment after all the wind we've been having recently.

For some decent photos of tui have a look at this page. They have gorgeous, iridescent feathers.

Soak the pepper seeds in "salt peter" first, helps with germination! It goes through the wall. Think of it like a long finger that pulls up the lever that releases the pin.
Including a guarantee that if you don't get at least 35 hours EVERY month, he will make up the difference out of his pocket.
If HE had to do it it might be a PITA for him but since you are doing it, he shouldn't careDon't bother with the peppers, at this point you need to buy started plants. Peppers are slow growers and we just don't have a long enough season to start with seeds now unless you have a greenhouse for the fall. Start the peppers in February next year.
