It is tall because it is only 4' wide. I did that so I (at ~6' 2") could walk under it to pick from both sides and the Fortex beans grow tall. I was picking some that were hanging down from above. Those sure are easy to see
I did the same thing with cattle panels over the 3 blueberry bushes, I think 6 feet wide. I still need to put bird netting over it once the plants start making fruit so the birds don't get to them. The bushes aren't all that productive. There were here when we bought the place, don't even know what variety of blueberries they are. It isn't nearly as high since I need to get to both sides of the bushes, no standing headroom for me under there.
